Retry safely after a timeout
Use idempotency keys and request IDs to recover without duplicating work.
Capture X-Request-ID
Every HTTP response includes X-Request-ID. Store it when a call ends ambiguously.
Retry mutations with the same key
Reuse Idempotency-Key only with the identical payload. A changed payload requires a new key.
Inspect request logs
Use request logs in the dashboard to see whether Veltor completed the call while your client timed out.
