Authentication and first login

Veltor uses self-hosted Better Auth while existing organization IDs, memberships, roles, and audit actors remain intact.

Existing accounts

Existing verified users receive a password-reset message. Complete that reset once, then sign in with email and password. Unverified accounts must verify their email first.

New accounts

Create an account at auth.veltor.dev. Veltor delivers a six-digit verification code through Resend. Complete verification before the identity exists.

Email delivery

Veltor stores authentication delivery state before acknowledgment, and Resend delivers the version-controlled template.
